Light at the end of the tunnel

Unfortunately, this is not an announcement that the editorial market has picked up, is more buoyant and that rates have risen and clients have finally understood why they cannot ask for more for less. That scenario would indeed be nice, but is probably confined to the realm of pipedreams and wishful thinking.

Instead I travelled on a canal boat through the
Islington Tunnel on a rather quiet arm of the Regent's Canal, organised courtesy of The London Canal Museum. It was a fascinating sight, the 189-year old structure built by the Regent's Canal engineer, James Morgan remaining pretty much intact and 'perfectly straight'.
